What You'll Need

– 2 cups all purpose flour – 4 tsp baking powder – salt – 1/4 cup sugar – 1/3 cup cold butter – 2/3 cup milk – 1 egg – 1/2 cup sourdough discard – vanilla extract – fresh strawberries

Step 1

Start making your strawberry muffins by preheating oven to 350F (180C). Line your muffin pan with muffin cups

Step 2

In a large bowl, add flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix well. Grate or cut in the butter until crumbly.

Step 3

Add milk, vanilla, sourdough discard, and egg. Combine until moist. Add in the strawberries and mix just until combined.
