Sourdough Dandelion Flower Bread

What You'll Need

– 950g all-purpose flour  – 500g filtered water – 20g salt – 200g active sourdough starter – 1 – 2 cups of cut dandelion petals – 1 tsp olive oil

Step 1

Add flower, sourdough starter, salt and water to the bowl of your standing mixer. With the kneading attachment on, turn the mixer on. Lastly, add your yellow flowers.

Step 2

Leave the standing mixer to knead for a few minutes, until the dough is well formed, and stretches easily without tearing.

Step 3

Add a little olive oil to the bottom of a large bowl and swirl it around. Add your sourdough and place in a proofing box.

Step 4

The time it will take your bread to rise depends on the temperature of your proofing box/ house.
